Parco Delta del Po: discover the territory and the Natural Park

UNESCO World Heritage site, the Park of the Po Delta is a fascinating interlacing of lands and waters, islands and peninsulas surrounded by channels where the big River Po meets the Adriatic Sea. In 52,000 hectares of land live hundreds of plants and animals that are not found elsewhere. Beaches, lagoons, woods, dunes… an immense naturalistic heritage, to be discovered by bicycle, on horseback or by boat, not to be missed for lovers of  nature and of birdwatching.

But in the area of the Park there are also wonderful testimonies of art and culture: The Benedictine Abbey of Pomposa, the Estense Woods and Castle of the Mesola, the Museum of the Reclamation Ca' Vendramin, the palladian Villa Badoer in Fratta Polesine, Comacchio.
